Many images spring from “Underland’, Robert Macfarlane’s latest fascinating book. This one was especially strong for me. He writes about the Sami people and their belief that, ‘the feet of the dead, who must walk upside down, touch the feet of the living who stand upright…’ Just had to visualise this.
